These terms govern your use of cvbyte (cvbyte.com), a free resume-building application that runs in your web browser. By using cvbyte, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
cvbyte lets you create, edit, and download resumes. The application runs entirely on your device; your resume data is stored in your browser and is not transmitted to us. The service is provided free of charge, without accounts or subscriptions.
2. Your content
Everything you create with cvbyte is yours. We claim no ownership of, and have no access to, your resumes or any information you enter. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your resume and for keeping copies of your downloaded PDFs.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use cvbyte to create documents that are unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive (for example, resumes intended to impersonate another real person without their consent), and not to attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes, or abuse the service or its infrastructure.
4. No warranty
cvbyte is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that any resume will pass any particular applicant tracking system, or that using cvbyte will result in interviews or employment.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, cvbyte and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Because your data is stored only in your browser, clearing site data or losing your device can permanently delete your resumes; we recommend keeping your downloaded PDFs somewhere safe.

7. Changes to the service or terms
We may update the application or these terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
